Chiikawa Characters

1. Chiikawa (ちいかわ)

  • Name: Chiikawa (ちいかわ)
  • Animal: Hamster
  • Description: Chiikawa, the main character of the series, is a white creature resembling a hamster. Part of the "Little Cute" tribe, these characters typically have small, round bodies. Chiikawa only makes simple sounds and has a timid, sensitive personality. However, Chiikawa is brave when friends are in danger. Kind-hearted and considerate, Chiikawa is close friends with Hachiware and Usagi. Known for having good luck with lotteries, Chiikawa even won the current house through a lottery!

2. Hachiware (ハチワレ)

  • Name: Hachiware (ハチワレ)
  • Animal: Cat
  • Description: Hachiware is a creature with a distinctive "eight-shaped" fringe, resembling a cat, though the creator has clarified that Hachi isn't a cat. This allows Hachi to enjoy snacks like chocolate. Hachiware trims its own fringe, and if forgotten, the fringe becomes straight. Hachi lives in a cave, enjoys shopping and cooking, and is Chiikawa's close friend. Outgoing and talkative, Hachiware often takes on the role of the group's spokesperson, delivering most of the lines.

3. Usagi (うさぎ)

  • Name: Usagi (うさぎ)
  • Animal: Rabbit
  • Description: Usagi is the strongest of the Little Cute trio. Known for frequently shouting "Ura" and "Yaha" as catchphrases, Usagi is a close friend of Chiikawa and Hachiware. A lover of food, Usagi is also highly intelligent and often proves useful during battles against monsters.

4. Momonga (モモンガ)

  • Name: Momonga (モモンガ)
  • Animal: Flying Squirrel
  • Description: A character who loves to act cute and seek attention, Momonga hides a mysterious past that has yet to be fully revealed. 

5. Rakko (ラッコ)

  • Name: Rakko (ラッコ)
  • Animal: Sea Otter
  • Description: Rakko is highly skilled in monster hunting, earning a substantial income from the work. He has a love for sweets and even owns his own car. Admired by the Chiikawa trio (Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi), he is seen as a role model and source of inspiration for them.

6. Kurimanju (くりまんじゅう)

  • Name: Kurimanju (くりまんじゅう)
  • Corresponding Object: Chestnut
  • Description: Though he has a cute appearance, Kurimanju Senpai is actually more of an older, uncle-like character. A gourmet at heart, he puts great effort into creating various delicious dishes, primarily for his own enjoyment.

7. Shisa (シーサー)

  • Name: Shisa (シーサー)
  • Animal: Lion
  • Description: Shisa works at the "Rou" Ramen shop and respectfully refers to the Armored Ramen Chef as "Master." Despite being a relatively minor character, his dedication to his job and respect for his master is notable.

8. Kabutomushi (カブトムシ)

  • Name: Kabutomushi
  • Animal: Rhinoceros Beetle
  • Description: Once a pet of Chiikawa, the beetle was initially small and cute, with a sweet scent resembling tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet). It had a close relationship with Chiikawa. However, the beetle suddenly transformed into a large, muscular beetle and ended up biting Hachiware's ear and eating Chiikawa’s insect. After that, the beetle flew away, leaving behind mixed emotions.

9. Goblins (ゴブリン)

  • Name: Goblin
  • Description: Goblins often appear in large groups and have a strong attachment to the mushrooms in the forest. Once, when the Chiikawa group ate the mushrooms from the forest, they were captured and imprisoned by the goblins.

10. The Pochette Yoroi-san (ポシェットの鎧さん)

  • Name: Pochette Yoroi-san
  • Description: Skilled in crafting, this character sells handmade items like small bags and pajamas at a stall. He has previously gifted pajamas and raincoats to the Chiikawa trio. Friendly in nature, he has a fondness for cute things.

11. The Labor Yoroi-san (労働の鎧さん)

  • Name: The Labor Yoroi-san
  • Description: Responsible for assigning jobs and distributing salaries to the cute creatures. He has a good relationship with the Handmade Armored Man.

12. The Ramen Yoroi-san (ラーメンの鎧さん)

  • Name: The Ramen Yoroi-san
  • Description: The owner of the "Rou" ramen shop, known for his unique menu and ordering system. Highly respected by characters like Shisa, he plays an important role in the Chiikawa world.

13. Pajama Party (パジャマパーティーズ)

  • Name: Pajama Party
  • Description: The Pajama Party consists of four faceless residents, each dressed in different colored pajamas made by the Handmade Armored Man. Originally, the group would sing and dance to their signature "Pajama Party Song" in private, away from any audience. However, as word spread, people began humming the tune on the streets, prompting the group to plan a performance at a "Big Event."

    Before the event, three of the members were captured by a large bird, leaving them in a dire situation. In response, Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi stepped in as temporary replacements. Fortunately, on the day of the event, the original members miraculously escaped, and Chiikawa's trio joined in their rescue. Together, they successfully completed the Pajama Party's big performance, making it a memorable event for all involved.
